The polyphenols in biogrape™ possess chelating and antioxidant properties that interact with volatile compounds responsible for unpleasant odors in cosmetic formulations. Their ability to stabilize these compounds prevents their volatilization, reducing the perception of unwanted smells. Additionally, the chemical structure of polyphenols allows them to bind to aldehydes and ketones responsible for lipid oxidation, minimizing rancid notes in products with high concentrations of plant-based oils.
